  The Formal Instructional method is a Period of Instruction (POI) that requires no questions during the instruction.  The Informal Instructional method provides an interactive environment where both student and instructor can interface by asking questions and providing feedback throughout the POI.

  Practical application maybe required during certain POIs to ensure the audience is able to apply the technologies and/or principle(s) satisfactorily.  

​

  Some instructional opportunities have included home network security fundamentals, how to prevent a Phishing attack, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) Security Principles, Advanced Voice and Video Implementations, etc.
